41 s10 fuel gauge wiring diagram
I want to run everything from the wiring coming from the gauge cluster. Gauges and accessories I am looking to run. -Speedometer, Tach, fuel, volts, water temp, and oil pressure gauges-Flexalite 480 fan and aeromotive A100 fuel pump. Here is my wiring diagram. .

so i changed the fuel sender in my 99 s10 pick up 4.3. i installed the upgraded harness as per the diagram. the pump works but i still have no gauge reading. the gauge stays on empty. what is going on? so i check for a short or a rub out from the bed to under the drivers side floor board where the wires go into the fire wall area. i cannot see passed that. how do i check the gauge? or better ...

The sending unit is a rheostat that is grounded to the sending unit case. You must make sure the sending unit is grounded to the vehicle frame or body.

Only thing left is the fuel gauge. I am running a RCI fuel tank with a 0-90 ohm sending unit and no matter what I do the gauge always peggs out max when I turn on key. I have unplugged wiring harness from the firewall (the harness that has the tailights, turns, fuel pump, etc connection number 190 in the factory service manual) and it still pegs.
